Numerical Investigation on the Urban Heat Island Effect by Using a Porous Media Model

چکیده

The urban heat island (UHI) effect resulted from urbanization as well industrialization has become a major environmental problem. UHI aggravates global warming and endangers human health. Thus, mitigating the primary task to address these challenges. This paper verifies feasibility of three-dimensional turbulent porous media model. Using this model, authors simulate canopy wind-heat environment. temperature flow field over city with concentric circular structure are presented. impact three factors (i.e., anthropogenic heat, ambient crosswind speed, porosity in central area) on transfer business district simplified model were analyzed. It is found that suitable for estimating effect. could be mitigated by reducing artificial improving area.
